Being self-employed for over 25 years, Dean understands exactly what it takes to be in control of your own destiny and responsible for your own actions. Dean’s journey in the industry began in the mid 90’s when he joined his brother Scott at a national finance and investment company.
He is extremely proud of the fact that his very first interviewee in 1999 is still a client today thanks to Dean’s passion and aptitude for assisting people to achieve their goals and objectives.
Approaching this professional industry with great gusto, Dean achieved many accolades early on with the ultimate reward of being crowned "National Broker of the year" in 2001 which saw him beat 18 highly experienced consultants from 4 national firms.
In 2002 the next step in Dean’s journey began as he and Scott ventured out on their own as QSA to offer a more personalised service to their clients.
Dean takes pride in truly understanding what his clients want to achieve and creating a Road Map to get them there. He has personally assisted hundreds of clients achieve property ownership and taught them the principles of debt reduction along the way.
Seeing a client reach their goal is what really floats his boat. He understands that happy clients are ultimately a result of the fantastic team that QSA has fostered over the years and he is very proud of each and every one of the QSA family because without a team effort, their renowned high level of service would not be delivered time after time.
Over the years to keep up with the ever changing profession, education is a must, especially when the service offering is increasing to cover more areas.
Dean’s qualifications include Certificate III and Certificate IV in Mortgage Lending, many lender accreditations covering residential and commercial funding. Other education includes Risk Management, Specialist Self Managed Super Fund strategies including SMSF Residential and commercial property investment structures.
Dean provides assistance to QSA’s financial planning clients as QSA Financial Services Pty Ltd is a Corporate Authorised Representative (No. 301218) of MyPlanner Australia Pty Ltd AFLS No. 345905 and all assistance Dean provides in relation to finance and lending services are provided under ACL No. 387211.
